What is your interest in the CreativesDC beta community?

I'm a middle aged self employed artist and writer wanting to make a good living

How are you using your imagination and original ideas to enrich our economy and culture in DC, and beyond? Or, how would you like it to?

not in DC

I've started teaching art in a lock down facility of a mental institution. would like to build on that while developing an art business and my publishing credits toward a book.

Centa Theresa has exhibited her mixed media works in the SF Bay Area and has published poems in literary journals nationwide. She currently teaches art in a lock down ward of a mental institution to those individuals who have come through the criminal justice system. She is looking for additional community venues, such as the prisons, to teach writing as well to under served populations. Other than that, she and here husband are embarking on a path of full time artisanship. Centa will be updating her website with new work soon.
