I will be performing an acoustic set with my guitarist, Andy Fahs on Friday, July 3rd at Artomatic from 6-7! We will be performing my original songs, in the Soul/Experimental/Alternive genre. I'll probably throw in some random cover songs too!

Profile Information

What is your interest in the CreativesDC beta community?
Meeting other creative folks in this area and continuing to broaden my fanbase since I am a vocalist in DC
How are you using your imagination and original ideas to enrich our economy and culture in DC, and beyond? Or, how would you like it to?
I write music for all types of people. I am an artist that wants to enrich DC through my music; my music has traces of West African culture in it, and I want people to familiarize themselves with another culture other than their own; topics of my songs are not only relatable, but I talk about things that people think about all the time, but are afraid to admit. Everytime I create music, I just delve deeper and deeper. I will bring people closer through my music, starting right here, in DC :)

What place/scene/event do you think DC needs to attract more creatives?
Events where people can be themselves; events that center around self-love and the idea that openness with oneself will in turn lead to openness with others. Hope this makes sense...
