Establish a creative event in DC, a private sector sponsored version of the Creative DC Summit (www.wdcep.com/aboutus/php) that the city of Washington DC held on September 5, 2007 Which both Neil Takemoto and Rasul Sha'ir attended.
A blog covering green businesses, events, products, and more in the DC area. We are probably going to start organizing small networking dinner parties as well in the near future.

What is your interest in the CreativesDC beta community?
I work in DC and live in Arlington. I'm interested in the concept of crowdsourcing and seeing how I can contribute and my own work can benefit from being part of a creatives group.
How are you using your imagination and original ideas to enrich our economy and culture in DC, and beyond? Or, how would you like it to?
I would like it to influence all of the above. I currently practice environmental law for a large established environmental organization but am interested in making more of a difference locally and finding new ways to affect policy and behavior.
Bio (html accepted)
