- What is your interest in the CreativesDC beta community?
- I am a big fan of developing DC into a Creative Economy that is an example for other cities to follow.
- How are you using your imagination and original ideas to enrich our economy and culture in DC, and beyond? Or, how would you like it to?
- As an artist and curator, I am pursuing grants and other funding opportunities to provide more culturally enriching visual arts programming to the DC area.
My company Authentic Contemporary Art provides opportunities for emerging artists to show their work in alternative art settings, including the internet, thus reaching the "masses" with visual art. We also provide art collecting workshops for first-time collectors , workshops on topics such as grant writing and financial planning for visual artists and explore topics regarding how visual art influences the community through the Authentic Art Visions: The Art Cast podcast series. We have and continue to partner with the creative community to promote art in the DC area.
