As summer nears an end and business owner Linda Welch is making significant progress in raising her own capital to fund Elements on her own, we thought the most fitting thing to do at this point amid the press we're getting in the Washington Post, Washington Business Journal and Springwise is...

...to party!

It's a great way to project what the experience of being at Elements will be, by creating a scene where future customers will get to hang out, talk about the restaurant, meet the team, and even rate some of the dishes that either turn you on or turn you off! If you'd like to help, reply via this discussion thread on the Elements site (joining is free), starting with providing some feedback on the following questions:

Where should we have it? Is Bourbon, our pre-Elements party HQ in Adams Morgan large enough at this point?
How should we identify and screen chefs?
What would be an affordable admission and budget for this event? $10 with cash bar?
Any other ideas that should be considered?
