Creativity is defined as "the use of imagination or original ideas". It is not exclusively tied to art, as the perception may be in this community. In fact, creativity here is more closely tied to using imagination and original ideas to enriching DC's economy and culture? So maybe that's clearer?...
How are you using your imagination and original ideas to enrich our economy and culture in DC, and beyond? If not, how would you like it to?
Essentially, the CreativesDC community is for people who want to use their creativity to make an impact, make a difference, more so than to solely self express... not that there's anything wrong with that.
